Christmas is upon us again and whilst it may be easy to just run out the
market and grab a pre-made printed greeting card, making and/or painting your own
Christmas greeting cards can be a great way to show that you care and to give someone in your life something unique and special. Greeting cards are quite easy to
paint and can be personalized by adding your own personal message on the inside.
The Christmas card ideas should reflect
individuals attitude and likes, therefore they become more appealing to the recipients. It will be all the more good in preparing the cards, if you have an inclination towards painting and drawing
but isn't essential as you can paint them as simple or as detailed as your
skills allow.
These days, hand painted Christmas cards
have a personal touch which is preferred over and above the branded printed cards.
I think this is because people are beginning to recognize the efforts and hardship going into the making of the cards. So, your mind should be full of ideas for
hand painted Christmas cards if you are going to have a go at painting them
yourself.
Below are some examples of some of my
ideas, feel free to copy them but do try to change some of the detail which
makes them your own.
