Greeting cards are in very high demand during Christmas
time purely because of the number of people wanting to wish each other a Merry
Christmas. The number must run into millions worldwide. According to a survey, the highest number of greeting cards is sold
just before Christmas and the New Year celebrations.
No other occasion generates sales of greeting cards in such a huge number.
Christmas cards convey a lot of meaning to some people. Since it is literally impossible for
everyone to wish each other over phone or through personal meetings, sending greeting cards
are the preferred method.
The most common sentence in a Christmas card is "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" but it is okay to be a bit more creative when you write your greeting
cards.
As you can see below I still prefer to
paint my own Christmas cards but that fine if you have equipment and familiar
with drawing and painting.
However, even if you are not good in drawing, you can still create beautiful Christmas cards.
Cut out Christmas motifs from magazines, preferably colourful ones, and glue them together on a piece of
card (e.g. in several layers). It sounds simple, but you can really make very beautiful and creative cards in no time.
Have fun...Merry Christmas!!
